UI166 KUROCO Precision Shears – 187 mm – Double-Edged Blades

Compact Japanese bud shears from the KUROCO series, equipped with double-edged blades and designed for exceptionally precise maintenance work.

Compared with the standard model, the handle has been shortened by 15 mm and widened at the same time, providing a more stable grip and greater working comfort.
Each pair is hand-sharpened by Yoshioka Hamono artisans, giving the shears exceptional sharpness and cutting precision.

The slim, thin blades are designed for trimming delicate buds and young shoots and for working between dense branches. The rounded blade profile helps prevent slipping when cutting with the deeper part of the blade, providing greater control.

The double-edged version is especially recommended for bonsai care, removing young buds, trimming pine needles and thinning fruit tree blossoms – wherever maximum cutting precision is required.

The elegant matte black finish with subtle details and the decorative box also make these shears an excellent gift. They are also compatible with the separately available KUROCO leather sheath.

Important:
The greatest threat to blade sharpness is corrosion. After use, thoroughly remove dirt and moisture, then regularly maintain the blades and screw with a thin layer of camellia oil or another anti-corrosion oil.
