TJ040 Hedge Shears – 270 mm – One-Handed

Professional Japanese one-handed hedge shears designed for precise shaping of shrubs and ornamental plants.

The double-edged blades are highly effective for trimming young shoots and fresh leaves. Thanks to the urasuki-shaped inner blade surfaces, plant sap and resin collect in a recessed area, helping reduce sticking and ensuring smoother cutting.

The shears are fully forged, providing high durability, excellent sharpness and the ability to be repeatedly sharpened, straightened and maintained. They are also equipped with a durable screw that ensures stable operation even during intensive use.

This model is ideal for shaping hedges, trimming ornamental shrubs, evening out plant shapes, working on a ladder and trimming roots during repotting. It is also commonly used for bonsai care.

Important:
This model does not have a hand guard. If you want additional protection when sweeping away cut leaves, choose the version with a guard.

The screw in the shears is a consumable part. If any looseness appears, it should be replaced immediately. Continued use with a loose screw may damage or permanently deform the tool.

After use, thoroughly remove dirt and moisture from the blades, then protect them with a thin layer of camellia oil or another anti-corrosion oil.
