Chopstick Rest - Kaki

The chopstick rests are handmade by artisans in Gifu Prefecture, Japan.

Kaki, or persimmon, is one of the symbols of autumn in Japan. It can be enjoyed fresh or dried as hoshigaki. Hoshigaki is enjoyed in Japan throughout the year, while its vivid orange colour adds a warm accent.
