TJ005 Precision Shears – 200 mm, Shinogi Blade

Classic Japanese bud shears with double-edged blades, designed for exceptionally precise maintenance work in gardening and bonsai.

The slender, tapered blade tips make it easier to work in hard-to-reach areas between dense branches. The shinogi-style blades are ground with a characteristic ridged profile, making them lighter and allowing even more precise cutting.

The fully forged construction provides high durability, excellent sharpness and allows repeated sharpening, straightening and maintenance. The traditionally grooved handle improves grip and helps prevent slipping during use.

This model is especially recommended for removing buds, trimming young shoots, bonsai care and orchard or gardening work requiring a high level of precision.

Important:
The blades have an additional micro-edge finish on the inner side to increase durability. For this reason, the shears may be less effective when cutting soft, flexible materials such as jute or hemp cord.

The screw in the shears is a consumable part. If any looseness appears, it should be replaced immediately. Continued use with a loose screw may damage or permanently deform the tool.
