TJ006 Hedge Shears – 270 mm – One-Handed with Hand Guard

Professional Japanese one-handed hedge shears equipped with a hand guard for increased safety and comfort during use.

The double-edged blades are highly effective for trimming young shoots and fresh leaves. The inner side of the blades is shaped using urasuki technology, creating a recessed area where plant sap and resin can collect, helping reduce sticking and ensuring smoother cutting.

The hand guard protects the hand when sweeping away cut leaves without having to put the shears down, reducing the risk of accidental cuts. The solid, fully forged construction ensures high durability, exceptional sharpness and allows repeated sharpening, straightening and maintenance.

The shears are intended for shaping hedges, trimming ornamental shrubs, evening out plant shapes and bonsai care. They are also useful when working on a ladder and for trimming roots during repotting.

Important:
The screw in the shears is a consumable part. If any looseness appears, it should be replaced immediately. Continued use with a loose screw may damage or permanently deform the tool.

After use, thoroughly remove dirt and moisture from the blades, then protect them with a thin layer of camellia oil or another anti-corrosion oil.
